GATES Coolant Thermostat with Housing – TH47487K2

Description

GATES TH47487K2 is a premium OE-quality engine coolant thermostat with integrated housing for BMW 3.0 diesel engines.

Designed to regulate engine coolant temperature and maintain the correct operating temperature for efficient combustion, cabin heating and engine performance.

The thermostat has an 87°C opening temperature and is supplied with the required sealing gasket.

A faulty thermostat can cause:

✔️ Slow warm-up
✔️ Poor cabin heating
✔️ Increased fuel consumption
✔️ Reduced DPF regeneration efficiency
✔️ Engine overheating if thermostat sticks closed
