1. Definitions
Shark Parts – Shark Parts Pty Ltd
Customer – The person or business buying goods or hiring equipment from Shark Parts
Goods/Services – Items or work supplied by Shark Parts
Equipment – Any item provided for hire
Price – The amount payable, including GST if applicable
2. Acceptance
By placing an order or accepting delivery, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Any changes must be made in writing and agreed to by both parties.
3. Pricing & Payment
Prices are as quoted or shown on invoices.
Payment terms depend on the arrangement – upfront, on delivery, instalments
A non-refundable deposit may be required.
GST is added unless otherwise stated.
No deductions or offsets are allowed without prior agreement.
4. Delivery
Delivery is considered complete once goods are received by you or your nominated contact.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only.
You may be charged extra for re-delivery or storage if the site isn’t ready or accessible.
5. Ownership & Risk
You take responsibility for the goods once delivered.
Shark Parts keeps ownership until payment is fully received.
If goods are left unattended, you’re responsible for loss or damage.
6. Access to Site
You must ensure clear and safe access for delivery and installation.
You’re responsible for any damage unless caused by Shark Parts’ negligence.
7. Warranty & Returns
Check all goods on delivery and notify us within 14 days of any issues.
Shark Parts complies with Australian Consumer Law.
Returns may be accepted at our discretion and may incur handling fees.
8. Designs & Intellectual Property
Any designs or plans created by Shark Parts remain our property.
You must ensure any plans you provide don’t breach third-party rights.
9. Privacy
We may collect and use your information to assess credit and manage your account.
You can request a copy of your information or lodge a privacy complaint.
10. Dispute Resolution
Disputes should be addressed in writing and discussed within 14 days.
If unresolved, disputes may go to arbitration.
11. General
These terms follow Queensland and Australian laws.
We’re not liable for delays caused by events outside our control (e.g., natural disasters).
We may subcontract services or update these terms with notice.
